Khun Sichart is a well known figure on the Thai karting scene. He is heading Maxima Motorsport, the sole importer of Intrepid chassis and accessories in Thailand. But there is more to it, Maxima offers an attractive race-package for drivers who own their Intrepid equipment or would like to rent it on a race by race basis.
At the occasion of the arrival of the 2009 models in Thailand Khun Sichart hired KartingPhotography to deliver a photographic coverage of the new karts and of the Intrepid drivers. We are happy to show you some results and tell you more about Intrepid...

Four Chassis are imported in Thailand: The Sirius (32mm frame), the Cruiser V (30mm), the Raptor MT-01 (32mm) and the Maky, a 950mm chassis for cadets. The Sirius and Cruiser V are reasonably priced at 145,000THB, the Raptor goes for 135,000THB and the Maky for 89,000THB. The Sirius and Cruiser V exist in slightly more expensive DD2 and FRM (Front Manual Brake) versions.

And if you want to race you should know that the Maxima/Intrepid Team Thailand can still accomodate one more racer in the National and Rotax championships and a couple of racers in the SKT championship. And oil is free! To get more details about services offered and tariffs contact Khun Sichart at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Branded as very versatile and suitable for all types of drivers the Intrepid chassis are winners in the world and in Thailand. Dutchman Bas Lammers, who joined Intrepid for the 2009 season, recently won both the pre final and final of the second round of the WSK Series at Sarno in KZ2. And talented young Frenchman Brandon Maisano won the 2009 Winter Cup in KF2.
In Thailand the Intrepid colours are defended by several drivers. To name a few, Khun Tisanu represented Thailand in the 2008 Rotax Max World Finals after having won his class in the Thailand Rotax Max Challenge. Khun Mickey (winner of the Micro Max class in RMC round 1), Khun Sasakorn (winner of the National 1 Mini Rok race), but also Khun Veravich and Teravate (we predict that they will also win races in 2009) also drive Intrepids.
